On May 20, the De Maisonneuve Regiment will host the Grand Military Ball for Montréal’s 375th in the “Salle des pas perdus” at Windsor Station.
Sponsored by the Fondation du Régiment de Maisonneuve under the honorary presidency of Montréal Mayor Denis Coderre and Brigadier-General Hercule Gosselin, Commander of the 2nd Canadian Division and Joint Task Force East, the Grand Military Ball will bring together leading figures from the political, economic, social and cultural worlds with business leaders, members of the Regular and Reserve Forces of the Canadian Armed Forces and veterans. For the event, Windsor Station will be transformed into an immense banquet hall to welcome over 1,100 guests.
Commissionnaires is proud to sponsor this exceptional event as a major partner and to reiterate our social commitment to military families, as all proceeds from the event will go to the Montréal Region Military Families Resource Centre (MFRC-M). The MFRC-M’s objective is to support the well-being of military families in their personal, family and community development, to help them overcome the many challenges inherent in military life.
In addition to paying homage to members of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Grand Military Ball of the 375th will celebrate the importance of the ties between political institutions, the business world and the military community which, over time, have helped make Montréal into a world-class international city. The event will also highlight the essential and productive role of soldiers in the development and history of Montréal.
