Our online security guard training meets the national standards of the Canadian General Stansteads Board (CGSB), which surpass the knowledge and abilities required for the security industry in the province of Quebec.
In Quebec, the Bureau de la sécurité privée (Bureau of private security) is responsible for application of the law and by-laws in the private security sector as well as issuing security guard permits. Two courses are required to obtain this permit, the 54-hour security guard training and the 16-hour ''workplace first aid training'' recognized by the CNESST. The basic Commissionnaires training - Quebec division, is accepted by the Bureau de la sécurité privée (Bureau of private security) and recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Public Safety.
The security guard training is offered online with a minimum required time of 54 hours. The courses can be taken in the daytime, evening or on weekends and our trainers are available to answer student questions and help them progress to become better guards in the field, agents 2.0! Though the training is offered remotely, our trainers are dynamic and passionate about the security sector. They transmit this passion to students, even from behind a screen.
To obtain this training, you must be at least 18 years old and in a situation where obtaining your BSP permit is possible. It is important that you do not have a criminal record and you must, of course, be ready, available, present and attentive at all times during training.
